Privacy policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Ticketle ("Ticketle", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at https://www.ticketle.net and its related country-specific domains (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is a ticket-discovery and aggregation platform: we list events and direct users to third-party ticket sellers and marketplaces (our "Partners"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you have over it.

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws, Ticketle is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

We collect information you provide directly to us when you contact us — for example, your email address and the content of any message you send us. The Service does not offer public user accounts and does not require registration.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Device and browser data: browser type and version, operating system, and language preferences;
  • Usage and log data: the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the page from which you arrived (referrer);
  • Approximate location: derived from your IP address and used to show you relevant events and currency;
  • Click data: when you click a "get tickets" link, we record the event, the selected Partner, your IP address and its network operator (ASN), your country, your browser's user agent, and a timestamp. We use this to operate, secure, and measure our referral links.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and analyse usage. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • respond to your inquiries and requests;
  • display events relevant to your location, language, and currency;
  • operate, secure, and measure the referral links that connect you to our Partners;
  • analyse usage trends and improve performance and user experience;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service, measure our referral links, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to your inquiries, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and any optional communications, which you may withdraw at any time;
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

Ticketle does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for more information.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share personal data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: trusted third parties who process data on our behalf, including:
    • Google Analytics — website analytics and usage measurement;
    • Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring;
    • Cloudflare — content delivery, traffic optimisation, and security.
    These providers may process data only for the purposes of providing their services to us and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ticketing Partners: when you click a "get tickets" link, you are redirected to a third-party Partner (for example, an authorised ticket seller or marketplace). Your interaction with that Partner is governed by the Partner's own terms and privacy policy. We may receive aggregated or anonymised reporting about referrals for billing and measurement purposes.
  • Legal compliance and protection: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Click and usage data is retained for a limited period for security, fraud-prevention, and measurement purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Any message you send us is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including within and outside the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

9.1 Rights under the GDPR (EU / EEA / UK)

If you are located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9.2 Rights under the CCPA/CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

9.3 Other jurisdictions

If you are located in Brazil (LGPD), Mexico (LFPDPPP), Argentina, Colombia, or another jurisdiction with applicable data-protection laws, you may have comparable rights, including access, correction, and deletion. Contact us to exercise them.

9.4 Exercising your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to third-party websites and services, including our ticketing Partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete it.

12. "Do Not Track" Signals

There is no common industry standard for interpreting "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, and we currently do not respond to them. We will continue to monitor developments in this area.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
